Adam A. Phyall

I am currently serving as Newton County School System's Technical Data Facilitator. In this position I work with Title I schools assessing technology needs and developing technology integration plans. I work closely with administrators and teachers by conducting trainings on technologies such as; Promethean ActivBoard, Apple iOS devices, BYOT, and Web 2.0 tools.

In order for students to exist in the world beyond high school, they must be prepared to live and to work in a technological world. Today’s students need to become life-long learners; and it is the responsibility of the school system to provide students with the technology literacy necessary to meet that need.

Technology can be utilized to open up a wider world to students. Accessing the Internet and providing varied software programs for student learning provides a means for increasing student achievement. Technology provides outlets for student creativity, showcasing student efforts and work.

It is my personal goal to insure that all students have access to technology and the skills required to not only complete, but excel at a global level.
